Yolanda Ludwig is a talented Swiss artist, educator, and art mediator with a rich background in photography. Having attended the prestigious Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK), she honed her skills in photography, excelling in both analog and digital formats. Her artistic approach is characterized by precision and an in-depth understanding of the medium, which she has consistently demonstrated throughout her career.
Ludwig’s expertise is not limited to her personal work. She has served as an art mediator at ZHDK, where she facilitated connections between art and its audiences, enhancing the appreciation of visual culture. She worked at the House of Photography in Olten, where she engaged with the community through art education and programming. Additionally, her involvement in the Kunstmuseum Olten highlights her commitment to expanding the reach of contemporary art, the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and the Kunsthaus Aarau are the Institutions where she started her career as an art mediator.
Currently she ended her studies in a Master of arts in arteducation at the Hochschule für Kunst und Design in Basel and is working as an art teacher. Her work, whether captured through the lens or shared in educational settings, reflects her dedication to the art of photography and her belief in its transformative power.
